Looking at Canada’s role in supporting Israel’s genocide of Palestinians and its global imperialism at large. Highlighting key points from Yves Engler’s book “Canada and Israel Building Apartheid” while also sharing key parts from my Master’s research that shatters Canada’s image as a global peacekeeper and exposes how it has long used that image to camouflage its oppression of Indigenous populations globally.

Some questions/topics we will look at:

• Has Canada historically been the world’s most pro-Israel country, perhaps more than the US and UK?

• Why has Canada been such a staunch supporter of Israel?

• Canada’s future relationship with the Zionist Entity.

• How does Canada’s staunch support for Zionism reflect both its domestic and global imperialistic policies?
